The first time we came here our experience was great! However today we had a horrible experience. Upon arriving it was mostly crowded as expected on a Sunday. We sat ourselves and waited for a server to bring menus and take drink orders. We waited approximately 5 minutes and 2 other patrons entered and sat down. Within 2 minutes of them sitting down a server came with menus and got their drink orders and walked away not even acknowledging us. We waited 2 more minutes and no one came over to help us. We got up and left and will not be returning to this establishment. We try to frequent local business but with service like this it makes it hard. Buyer beware on busy days.

Been going here since I was a child. Food is always amazing. There's literally nothing here that is bad. The staff treats you like family, and is very attentive. One of the last true homey breakfast places.

Just moved into the neighborhood and was in search of some comfort food. I found Shirley's online and hopped on my bike and headed there. The previous reviews are accurate. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and was not disappointed . The coffee is excellent and the service was cordial and efficient and the price is very reasonable too. Will definitely put this place on my rotation of local dinning joints. :)

Great place for breakfast. Service was kind and fast. I had the biscuits and gravy with bacon; the gravy wasn't as flavorful as I would have liked, but everything else was good.

Place was so quaint. Friendly staff and fantastic food. It's so hard to find a small family breakfast dinner with actual food that doesnt taste processed. And it was so cheap too. It's my family's new favorite to go spot.
